The Emily Williams Counseling Newsletter
Practice update, new blogs, and tools you can use - delivered to your inbox.
Welcome: Why I'm Starting This Newsletter
One of the things I hear from my clients - whether they are new to therapy, just getting started, or somewhere in between - is that they wish they had more proactive communication from their clinician. Therapists, like me, spend much of their time writing blogs, building new assessment tools, and identifying other helpful resources. This newsletter will be a great way for me to get that information directly to you.
That's what this newsletter is for.
These newsletters will share important updates on my practice, explore topics relevant to mental health and emotional wellbeing, as well as assessments and tools you can you to continue you journey of personal growth.
I want to be clear about what this newsletter is not: it is not therapy, and subscribing does not create a therapeutic relationship between us. The content here is educational - meant to inform, encourage reflection, and point you toward resources. If you're looking for personalized support, I'd love to invite you to schedule a consultation. If you are an active client, these topics may help ignite new topics for us to explore during your next session.
I'm grateful you're here. Whether you're a past client, someone considering counseling, or simply someone who cares about their mental health — welcome. I hope something in these pages meets you where you are.
